Late-'80s UK-made 25-watt Celestion G12M-25 'Greenbacks' in a Marshall 1960TV 4×12 cabinet — a slightly different side of the classic Greenback sound. These speakers are less mid-heavy than many modern reissues, with a smoother upper midrange, clearer high end, and a more open overall character. In the taller 1960TV cabinet, that translates to a bigger, wider sound with less boxiness and more clarity — a far more ideal match for vintage Marshall circuits like the 1959SLP, which already have plenty of midrange of their own. The unmistakable Greenback feel and character, but with a balanced, refined openness that makes this particular speaker and cabinet combination truly special.
