PS-VH1984 aims to faithfully recreate several guitar sounds on the Van Halen Album “1984” in profiles you can load into the Neural Amp Modeller plugin (NAM).

What you will need:
● A PC/Mac With an audio interface capable of accepting a High Impedance (Hi-Z) Instrument input, Set for low latency playback and calibrated to around -6db peak.

A real joy to play along with 1984 with such a similar sound and feel to the original sound. I use the AIO profile as I don't feel this needs any tweaking at all it just feels and sounds right. At this price it's a no-brainer and I'm very happy that the search is over and I just enjoy playing without endlessly feeling like I could have a better sound - this is it! Love all these producer packs, I also have the rockman and the John Mayer which I also love very much
I have become a big fan of everything Neutron is doing. For me there's been a learning curve with their products because it's a unique approach. Well worth understanding, in my opinion. I use the "AIO" of these particular NAM files, adjust the input gain to taste, then use another NAM instance running one of their compressors beforehand as well. Compared this setup to a latest "Brown Sound" release from a competitor, and like this VH1984 approach better.
After trying the FP-NXL free pack, without hesitation I decided to buy this Van Halen - 1984 pack, for that price it's a no-brainer! I grow up in the 80's so I really want the sound from that era, my next pack maybe will be the Rockman!
